ABOUT MAXWELL
What's in a name?
The Father of Electromagnetism
James Clerk Maxwell was a Scottish physicist who, in 1865, created the classical theory of electromagnetic radiation, which was the first theory to describe electricity, magnetism, and light as different manifestations of the same phenomenon. Maxwell's equations have been called the "second great unification in physics," where the first one was realized by Isaac Newton, recognizing the laws of motion and universal gravity and the third one by Albert Einstein, recognizing the equivalence of matter and energy in his famous equation.
Maxwell is regarded as the founder of electrical engineering. Maxwell, in our view, is the best possible name for an electric aircraft company.
